1. What this policy covers
This policy describes the browser storage implemented in this version of the Hero Tyres website. It covers local storage as well as cookies. The responsible business is Hero Tures Limited, trading as Hero Tyres. The mobile service is based in Lucan, Co. Dublin; there are no customer-facing premises. Questions can be sent to office@herotyres.ie.
The current website does not install advertising pixels, analytics scripts, embedded social feeds, remote fonts or an embedded map. The Dublin coverage panel is an informational graphic, not a live map or a guarantee of availability.

Local storage does not expire automatically. The website checks the stored expiry when it loads and stops using expired choices. It removes expired entries on the next relevant visit. If you do not return, the browser may retain the data until you clear it.
No names, addresses, phone numbers, tyre photos or enquiry messages are saved in this website’s local storage. Your browser may separately offer its own autofill or history features.
3. Your choices
The first-visit panel offers equally prominent options to reject optional storage or accept it. “Customise my choices” lets you choose whether your selected service can be remembered. That optional setting is off unless you enable it.
“Accept all” enables the optional service preference only. Analytics and marketing are labelled “Not used” because neither is installed. Your consent does not authorise unspecified future services.
You can keep using the site and its direct contact links without accepting optional storage. Scrolling, navigating or closing a browser tab is not treated as agreement.
4. Changing or withdrawing consent
Use “Cookie settings” or “Your privacy choices” in the footer. Turn preferences off and save, or select “Reject optional”. The service-preference record is removed and essential consent storage records the new choice.
Your selection is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days. We ask again after expiry or a change to the consent version. Clearing browser storage, using a different browser or using private browsing can cause the panel to return sooner. If browser storage is blocked, the choice may last only for the current page.
5. Third-party destinations and hosting
WhatsApp, telephone and email controls are links, not embedded tracking widgets. Opening an external destination may allow its provider to process information under its own policy. A drafted WhatsApp enquiry is included in the link you choose to open; review the message before sending it.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes connection data to deliver and protect the site. Security checks may use strictly necessary browser data. Optional analytics and marketing remain disabled in this version.
6. Future changes and more information
Any new analytics, marketing or embedded service needs a fresh inventory, updated disclosures and purpose-specific consent controls before activation. An existing preference choice must not be reused as consent to unrelated tracking.
