1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Hero Tures Limited, trading as Hero Tyres. Based in Lucan, Co. Dublin. We provide a mobile service and do not operate customer-facing premises. Contact office@herotyres.ie for privacy questions or requests.

2. Information you choose to share

A tyre enquiry may include your name, telephone or email contact details, vehicle information, tyre size, photographs, location or Eircode, requested service, preferred date and messages exchanged with the team. Please avoid sending unrelated or sensitive information.

The enquiry form builds a WhatsApp message in your browser. The supplied website has no form-submission database or payment checkout. It does not automatically send a message to Hero Tyres. Clicking “Continue in WhatsApp” passes the draft text to WhatsApp in a link; you then decide whether to send it.

Using email, phone or WhatsApp may also involve information handled by those providers, such as call records or account identifiers. When you browse a hosted website, the hosting provider may process technical connection information.

3. Why information is used

Enquiry and booking information is used to understand your request, check coverage, discuss suitable tyres, arrange an agreed service and communicate about it. The basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or carrying out that contract.

Where applicable, business records may be kept to meet legal obligations. Necessary security and complaint-handling records may be processed for legitimate interests, subject to a documented assessment and your rights.

Optional browser preference storage relies on your choice in the cookie panel. We do not treat a service enquiry as marketing permission. This website does not include a marketing subscription or profiling feature.

4. Access, providers and transfers

Information needed for a requested service should be restricted to the people handling the enquiry, scheduling or carrying out the fitting, and authorised business support where appropriate.

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Email uses Zoho, and WhatsApp is used when you choose that contact channel. These providers may process technical or communication data in multiple countries under their own terms and applicable data-transfer arrangements. Contact us for information about providers relevant to your enquiry. An external provider may process information under its own terms when you choose to use its service.

No third-party analytics, advertising or social feed code is installed in the supplied website. Adding a social profile link later does not itself embed a feed or pixel.

5. Retention and security

We keep information only as needed to respond, provide an agreed service and meet applicable obligations. Enquiries that do not become bookings are reviewed within 30 days. Booking, invoice or dispute records may be kept longer where required for their purpose or by law; contact us about the records relevant to your request.

The supplied website keeps only the browser-storage items described in the Cookie Policy. Service preference storage is optional and subject to the consent expiry. It contains no contact-form details.

Access to enquiry records is restricted to authorised personnel and providers involved in responding or providing the service. No website or communication channel can promise absolute security.

6. Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Where consent is used, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

7. Related information and updates

The Confidentiality Agreement page describes the handling of private customer information; it is not a signed non-disclosure agreement. The cookie controls deal specifically with browser storage.

Policy changes should be dated and reflect the services and providers actually in use. A material new use of information must be assessed before it starts.
